“I do and re-do” Sociocultural engineering
Interdisciplinary group that uses artistic activities to promote the social integration of marginalized communities, specially of indigenous immigrants.

“I do and re-do” is an interdisciplinary group that uses visual and artistic activities to promote the empowerment and social integration of children and youth at risk. They have worked throughout the city with 15 communities, specially with indigenous immigrants who have lived in conditions of extreme poverty and social exclusion. Through comprehensive artistic courses that include digital photography, video art, multimedia and visits to museums and cultural centres, children – and through them their communities – identify and fulfil their needs. The organisation also promotes children´s rights and serves as a bridge between the indigenous people, the local authorities and neighbours to give new uses and meaning to public space.
