Deutsche Bank Urban Age Award São Paulo

At the beginning of April 2008, applications were invited for the Deutsche Bank Urban Age Award São Paulo. Once again, the award recognized new alliances of shared responsibilities between residents, companies, NGOs and public-sector institutions which help improve the quality of life in the cities.

The award, which carries a cash prize of 100,000 US dollars, was presented on December 3, 2008 within the Urban Age South America Conference in São Paulo.

In the evening of 3 December, 2008, in the presence of the Governor of the State of São Paulo, José Serra, and an unanimous decision by an international jury, the second Deutsche Bank Urban Age Award (USD 100.000) goes to a successful partnership in the heart of São Paulo: “ Do Cortiço da Rua Solón ao Edificio União”.
