„Tag der offenen Gesellschaft“ – Day of Open Society in Frankfurt

Join us at our open table on 15 June

On 15 June, the Open Society Initiative is organizing the third „Day of the Open Societies“(„Tag der offenen Gesellschaft“) in Germany. On this occasion, the initiative calls on businesses, associations or private individuals to put up tables in public space and invite friends and strangers, neighbours and passers-by alike to join in, eat, drink and discuss. It is the aim of the day to make a visible sign for an open society.

In cooperation with the Goethe-Universität, Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft invites guests to stop by and discuss the issue of an open society. On the campus premises, tables with refreshments will be set up between 3 and 6 pm.

The Day of the Open Society is supported by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and is a part of the federal program “Demokratie leben!”. For more information, visit this website: http://tdog19.de/
