Politikwerkstatt: „European Elections 2019 – Europe’s Future in a World of Change”

„As Germans, we must take responsibility and not shy away from representing our interests in Europe and worldwide!” - this position is recently heard more often. But what precisely are our interests, as Germans and as Europeans?

On 7 May 2019, Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik are hosting the third Politikwerkstatt workshop in Frankfurt am Main, entitled „European Elections 2019 – Europe’s Future in a World of Change”. Sylvia Hartleif, head of the ‚Foreign Policy Team‘ in the European Commission’s thinktank (EPSC), will give an introductory speech.

With the project Politikwerkstatt, Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik are creating an exchange platform for experts, policy makers and citizens. The workshops enable the participants to come together in conversation and to develop their own positions.

The upcoming workshop in Frankfurt is the third in a series of events. For the documentation of the first and second Politikwerkstatt, please refer to our section „Publications” (German only).
