Celebrating 30 years Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft!

It was April 1992: Deutsche Bank founded an organisation to honour and continue the work of its former chairman Alfred Herrhausen. It was the birth of the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft.

Since then, many moments, events and people have left an imprint on the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft. In the anniversary film, the current executive director Anna Herrhausen and long-time companions and partners look back: What has shaped us over the last three decades? What has moved us and society? What has been thought-provoking? And what is still relevant - and what will become relevant?

Anna Herrhausen will be joined by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Paul Achleitner, former Executive Director Wolfgang Nowak, as well as Paulina Fröhlich from the Berlin-based Think Tank Das Progressives Zentrum and Digital Europe 2030 participant Hanna Israel, who have accompanied the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft as partners and fellows in various projects.

These are 30 years marked by change. Topics have been set, networks have been built, new things have been established, and some things must have ended. But one thing remains: Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft’s constant commitment to a resilient, flourishing democracy and social cohesion, to progress and freedom.
